Birthday Parties
Kids (Pre-K through 8th grade) can celebrate their birthdays at WHS! Choose your “Party with the Pets” theme: Bow-Wow Birthday or Purr-fect Kitty Party. The cost for a 2-hour party is $100, for 8-15 guests (each additional guest $5.00).
Each two-hour party includes:
• Welcome sign and pet banner decoration
• Birthday child receives a Party Animal autograph dog, and photo with party guests
• Craft projects (make dog or cat party ears, “Best in Show” ribbons to hang on kennels, etc)
• Tour of the shelter with mini safety lesson
• Meet a dog. Pet a cat. Hold a rabbit.
• Feed the pets! Bunny bits and doggie bones provided.
• Learning Center play time in Clifford’s dog house, the adoption kennel, pet store and vet clinic.
• All guests receive “Bow-Wow” or “Cat’s Meow” goodie bags (contains stickers, temporary tattoos, bookmark, plastic pet toy, and more)
Families are welcome to bring cake, snacks, drinks, and table service to the shelter for their party, or plan to continue your celebration at home or at another location after leaving the shelter.
