Classroom Programs
WHS serves as a resource for area teachers. We provide materials that enable teachers to incorporate humane messages into all of their lesson plans. Teachers may also choose to get involved in our Pet Club, which takes humane education to the next level. As part of Pet Club, WHS’s humane education coordinator presents a series of four lessons in the same classroom throughout the school year. Each presentation has a new focus and encourages students to become more involved, while reinforcing previous lessons.
